Gunmetal Grey Tomato
Bred by Dean Slater of Michigan. We are not sure how stable Gunmetal Grey Tomato actually is. This year we grew them from some of the original seed we got from Dean. They came out the same as when we first grew them. A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. Also, an indeterminate variety that produces these 6oz (ca. 227 gram) beefsteak tomatoes. They have a sweet taste blended with a tartness. An excellent fresh eating or slicing tomato for sandwiches. But an added note, you may get some variants from this tomato plant. This is how we got Gun Metal Grey 2.0 Tomato. There has also been potato leaf variants showing up too.
